Biba Salon

After finding it difficult to find a good hairdresser in NZ, and a few bad hair appointments I finally came across Biba hair salon. The whole vibe in the salon is so peaceful and welcoming and the staff are wonderful. Avril is such a talented colourist - she’s manage to get my blonde exactly where I wanted it, and I often get compliments on what a nice colour my hair is. From the moment you walk in the door to weeks and weeks after you feel fabulous. It’s not just a hair appointment - it feels like you’ve gone in for a spa day!Would highly recommend to anybody

I like that it has its own parking space although not very big. I like the smell of the whole hair salon, it's refreshing. The coconut chai tea is also very warming. The service is good and I had a very nice haircut. Love it!

Amazing team. Jade, Libbey, and Phoebe are so lovely. Jade talked and encouraged Phoebe all the way through my appointment. I am very happy with the results.

Amazing experience, me and my mum love our hair and the salon. I love the style I was given and felt very welcome at the salon. I can't wait to go back soon for a relaxing head massage.

Biba is a beautiful salon with a really nice vibe. Libby was absolutely lovely and made the experience very enjoyable, she did a great job with my keratin treatment and trim. Phoebe was excellent also with helping organise my appointment. I will definitely be coming back and have already recommended the salon to others!

Never again. For $305, i look like a tiger.2 months ago I got my hair colored and I'm still waiting for the toner to work. No amount of washes have helped.I went to my appointment with a photo of what I wanted, warm caramel and hazelnut highlights to give some dimension to my untouched, rich dark brunette hair. The stylist said no problem she will make it look natural and sun-kissed- perfect.She came out with one colour, so much for my photo, but who am I to question the professional,put a toner in, rinsed and blow dried. I was gobsmacked at what was done. I had gold stripes on my head. I was in such shock I convinced myself the toner she had put in would surely tone down to harsh contrast but no. 2 months later I still look like a tiger. I never wear my hair out anymore because I am so self conscious. It's straw like, not supple, no matter what I do.$305! What a waste.

Busy, professional, friendly and good vibes salon. The team really take care of you, I am enjoying my cut and balayage (thanks Averil!) and will definitely be back!

Best Salon Ever.Wonderfully customer centered with a focus on the experience as well as the outcome. Super talented team and a beautiful vibe to the salon (which doubles as a yoga studio when it's not a salon!) Love the team here!
