Bachcare Tutukaka Coast

Bachcare will not help you if something goes wrong. This is a zero star rating. They don't deserve even 1 star.We booked a bach in Matapouri for 5 nights. On the 2nd night we lost power and water (the water pump requires electricity to supply water to the house). We contacted the only Bachcare contact number provided. The only option was to leave a voicemail, which I did, then I contacted the electricity company. The electricity company were helpful and were able to restore power for the night and couldn't find a fault with their line or connection.The next morning, the power went out again. Bachcare hadn't called back from the previous night's voicemail. Even when contacted on a weekday during business hours, the only option was to leave a voicemail, which we did, with no response. We sent an email and several online inquiries with no response. The live chat wasn't available. This time the electricity company advised since there is nothing wrong on their side, that an electrician had to have visited before they would come and have another look. The electricity company contacted the owner.We went hours with no water, electricity, the fridge and freezer full of our food, and no ability to flush the toilet. We have 2 children under 5, and had no contact from Bachcare or the owner. It is just appalling how Bachcare thinks this is acceptable.We had no choice but to cut our holiday short and leave.I am never booking with Bachcare again, knowing that they are not contactable and just do not care.
