ACE Towing

Real hard people to deal with. Got my car towed from Crash scene without my authority and was charge over $800 when I went to collect my car. I was charged, towing, brushing the road, washing the truck, truck driver going for his toilet break, admin fee, material and all other bullshit expenses. Real disappointing service. Shame on you guys.

I saw someone car got towed and I ask what is the car mistake, because I dont want to get towed for the same reason as well (I parked my car nearby the towed car). The person who towed the car is so rude and tell us to go away when we ask him politely. Luckily the AT lady explain the mistake to us very nicely. It's a courtesy just to answer nicely. Even if you can't/dont want to answer the question, you can just refuse to answer politely. You dont need to be so rude.

Do not use ACE towing. have been charged $780 to get a vehicle towed from Mt wellington to Wiri. Total rip off.

I saw one of their tow trucks at Countdown in Mt. Eden the night before good friday 2013. They were there with there sister company Supercity towing doing their best to rip off regular Kiwis with $250 fines ( cost of towing less than 1km). I witnessed four incidents while I was standing there. These people are vermin and should be stopped. funny how there were at least 20 other empty car parks so I'm not sure how the land owners suffered any loss of earnings! Associating yourself with this company is gonna be bad for your business.

Came out with a smoke on hand and made these large gestures at me swinging his arms as I moved towards him to talk trying to figure what was going on, as I moved towards him he yelled at me get away, go back that way throwing his hands forward pointing in the other direction. I was so confused like wha??? Why?? Hmmm?? “Don’t you see me waving my hands, go back that way, don’t come near me” He seemed to think I should know what he was meaning, I didn’t and so I did as a normal dude would and approached him to talk. I would’ve been fine with it if he had simply politely told me vocally he wanted me to go away because he was scared of covid whilst frantically waving his arms round. After expressing his dismay for my obliviousness to his unclear signals I expressed my dismay at him for the way he treats his clients. Yeah, he ended up driving off and not doing the job. This review will probably make little difference but to anyone who is considering ace towing just know the vibe isn’t probably going to be positive, you may bump into someone who isn’t considerate of the client and leaves you without getting the job done 90mins after waiting for them to show up.

Absolutely poor customer service. Very rude lady answering phone calls and needs to work on her manners. Missed out on a lot of money.
