Great holiday park. Cabin was clean and recently refurbished. Kitchen was clean and had good facilities. Bathroom kept clean and tidy. Excellent wifi too. Tony and Brigitte are great hosts and make a big effort to look after the place. Highly recommend.

It was a whistle stop overnight stay in one of the small cabins as we broke our journey. Such a clean tidy camp, well-organised even coping with our late arrival with no issues. Will happily stay again when travelling through Havelock

Enjoyed our stay here - perfect spot on the way south from Nelson. Impressed with the kitchen facilities and very happy to have a dump station and fresh water available too. Laundry was easy to use - $4 a machine - and Jean, the woman running it while we were there - was very friendly and helpful.

Nice and simple place to stay.Great covered outdoor area with huge tables. Covered BBQ area. Exercise workout stations and children's playground.3 washing machines $4 per load. Takes both $1 and $2 coins.4 dryers.Showered are free, a little temperamental, but still free hahah.Nice flat area's for caravans and Motorhomes just after the barrier arm.

An ideal place to overnight with (your well behaved) dog before heading into the Sounds. Cute cosy cabins, clean shared bathrooms, friendly hosts.

Basic room, clean showers and toilets, the receptionist was friendly and helpful, but the woman who is cleaning the rooms is very unfriendly. I wonder why she works at a place like this when she hates people that much. Would not stay at this place again. Left with a negative feeling.

The most beautifully fitted out stand alone cabin. Double glazed, so quiet. We had all we needed. Fridge, kettle, toaster. Plates etc. Comfy chairs and bed. Beautiful quality bedding, with an electric blanket. Two heaters and a TV. The manager very kindly let us in at midday instead of 2pm, which we greatly appreciated. Good free wifi. We will be back.

We are cycle touring in the area and opted to stay in one of the 'basic' cabins. I must say, that it was perfect for our needs. It was spotlessly clean with comfy beds. We could leave our bikes safely under our cabin porch.Just a short distance from us was all the amenities you could possibly need. Communal kitchen, washing machines, showers and toilets. There is even an undercover tables and chairs area for if the weather is foul. All areas are regularly cleaned. We were also able to borrow pots, pans, plates and cutlery.Free internet was also a bonus! All in all, we enjoyed our stay at this friendly family run site.We found it good value and would happily return here again in the future.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! Wish it had been longer as we were only stopping in overnight while on further travels. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed, bathroom and kitchen facilities were excellent! The rubbish and recycling facilities were also very much appreciated. The greeting on arrival was lovely, and we will hopefully be back one day!

We have stayed here a number of times over the years. Tony and Bridgette clearly take pride in providing a lovely environment for their guests. Over the years we have seen the upgrades and improvements. The toilets and showers are immaculately clean (the ladies even has a guest hairdryer). Laundry with new machines/dryers.Fantastic location, easy walking distance to shops, marina and the cafe's for that all important meal of green shelled mussels. More of a boutique campsite than the usual bulk barn.
