High price, Low Quality. Is good for easy grab food, But prices keep going up of the items that sell alot seems like just because they can. Just seems a bit unfair and the quality of meat in the pork buns and pies is just jelly and fat mainly so not expensive. Pork bun used to be $2.90 and went up to $4 in just a year while the beef bun stayed $2.90 because they don't sell as much. and the Hong Kong Savorys are almost $5 for bread with a bit of processed meat on it.

Used to be a local but these days whenever I'm in Auckland I make a point of coming here to grab lunch. Not been here for a long time and even though I had a mask and a cap on I was recognized and greeted like an old friend. Old friend is right, we worked out I've been a customer for over 35 years. They started in 1975 and have been family owned and family run by the same people since then. This is rare and worthy of appreciation. You don't last this long and customers don't come back deliberately on a four hour drive unless they really really want to. This bread has been delicious for almost 50 years now. Come and be a customer, it's a lunch you will appreciate for the taste and the history of Mangere Bridge.

Iconic much loved Auckland bakery - people travel from far and wide for their amazing roast pork buns. Other great delights include... Banana rolls, coconut cream buns, Apple strudel, cream donuts, cheese sticks and cheese twirls - even chop suey pies! Go here - check it out for yourself.

Absolutely horrible. They over charged us by about $15 and i just got a mince and cheese pie. the mine and cheese pie was absolutely horribly it had some sort of artificial meat or something it was full of this Gelatin substance and had clumps of random chewy meat in it . absolutely horrible would not recommend unless ur on your death bed and in need of food lol
