Waipuna Hotel and Conference Centre

I was here for a conference so the rooms I am rating are conference facilities not the hotel bedrooms. The conference rooms are very well equipped and maintained. The catering was brilliant, tasty food and plenty of it. Tons of fresh coffee too. The free pads & pens always a bonus, good sound systems. I did not photograph them but the gardens were lush and well cared for, and it was spacious. The view is brilliant and tons of parking.

A quiet, comfortable hotel with fabulous views across the estuary. The staff are kind, the food is great, and we loved staying there. It’s definitely on our list for future visits.

Disappointed with tv not working(staff fixed it) no instructions on where/who to ring if problems arise.Housekeepers need to move furniture out etc to clean room properly.Staff at reception were hard to understand . The whole hotel Needs to be refreshed.BUT WOW... the food and service in the restaurant was amazing .Overall the stay was good

We had a good stay here.Room we stayed in really spacious and clean, nice bathroom etc.Location was great for us. Easy to get around due to the motorway connections close by.Shout out to Andrew (reception) really good man. Really understanding around customer service.Will come back indeed.

Went to a weekend conference here. Great all being on one site. Rooms very comfortable and quiet

We stayed here a month ago and Betty was absolutely amazing to deal with. I had trouble booking via the booking app and she sorted it all out for me over the ph. We had an awesome room with a great view of the water, our room was also spotless. Super kind friendly lady. Thanks Betty x

Awful hotel and awful service.I got locked out of my room in the middle of the night, having got up for a walk because I was having problems sleeping due to jet lag. No one was able to open the door, so I eventually had to sleep in another room with all my things in my original room. I was told that maintenance would sort it over night!I got up in the morning to find they still could not open the room. It took them nearly two hours in the morning to get me into the room. Laptop, clothes etc were all inside so I had to wait until it was fixed.When I arrived back that evening, I got a new key card for the room. I expected at very least I would get an apology for the previous nights debacle . I didn’t even get that. I then went up to the room to discover the bed hadn’t been made, towels had not been changed. I complained but the staff couldn’t have cared less.Awful place.

It's quite run down now, they need to upgrade. The beds were comfy. They didn't have room service due to short staff. They clean the rooms every 3 days and on checkout unless you ask them to clean. Would be good if they had a smart tv too
