I’ve been in contact with Malcom since November last year looking for the perfect car to tackle Queenstown. Almost 4 months later I finally found one!Malcom has been the epitome of professional; taking on all of my requests and helping me sift through the sea of potential cars.Upon finding the right one he took his time with the inspection, giving the car a thorough look over and check, before coming back to me with all relevant information to determine the outcome. He has always been frank and honest in all dealings, taking the time to explain each and any issues so that I understand the course of action to be taken.I feel like I actually understand the innards of my new truck far better than I could have hoped, and know that there will be no other mechanic trusted to ensure the safety and longevity of my vehicle!

Malcolm was great. He came out to us in Glenorchy and sorted our trucks brakes when they failed. His call out fee was cheaper than a tow truck into Qtown. He was professional, efficient and a good bloke as well.

Malcolm helped us with some issues in a Ford Transit a couple of months back. Overall he proved to be everything you’d want in a mechanic: great to deal with, fast and technically excellent. Highly recommended!

Couldn't start my car due to a dead battery. Tech2u was one of the only mobile mechanic services I could find online.He normally works with Toyota but was willing to have look at my Honda Accord. He arrived within 15 minutes and assessed my car, giving me a very detailed explanation of my situation and advised me in what he thinks would be the best solution.Malcom had great customer service and within an hour I had a new battery with 3 year warranty and my car was up and running.Price was very reasonable, for service and new battery all together it cost less then it would have to get it towed to any other mechanic.Most definitely would reccomend.

Malcolm gave me friendly and honest advice and a fair price for the work my Toyota required, especially with his level of expertise which is very apparent, he knows his stuff! I felt well informed about what my car needed, he did an excellent job and I will definitely be contacting him again for any future work on my car. Thanks again Malcolm :)

Malcom went above and beyond to help us out when we ran into unexpected issues while on holiday. We were happy to pay the call out fee. He was efficient and very professional and extremely easy to work with, would 100% recommend.

Malcom was very accommodating with booking me in last minute and extremely knowledgeable of all things Toyota! He takes the time to look at everything on your vehicle and has parts for Toyotas that you couldn't find elsewhere. Great experience, quick and thorough, I would certainly recommend him and will be returning in a few thousand kilometers!

I know absolutely nothing about cars so panicked when I knew something was wrong. Malcolm was nice enough to answer his phone on Easter Monday, talk me through what the problems might be and come the next day to fix them.He took time to explain to me all the things he was doing in simple language so I understood. He went through all my options with me and was helpful when I asked lots of questions.All in all, an honest, decent mechanic who knows a lot about Toyota's. Malcom displayed utmost professionalism when managing an urgent repair for us. Parts were ordered promptly and we were happy to pay for the call out fee which is a reasonable rate for the door to door service received. Malcom managed our repair in a quick and efficient manner which ensured we could get the car back on the road quickly. This review is long overdue.We had an incredible experience dealing with Malcom from Tech2u.We called for a simple pre-purchase vehicle inspection and the trouble Malcom went through to finalize the deal has left us humbled.
