Beautiful attention to detail in this historic homestead. Dale was very helpful with anyone needing assistance and accessibility (and everyone in general). The Devonshire Tea and sandwiches were very very very much enjoyed by all - so much so that we returned to Bushy Park Cafe, Sanctuary and Homestead again and again. Peace and delight amidst nature and elegance. Thank you, you made our day.

Dont waste your time coming out to this place. The guy running it is rude and unwelcoming. It's a shame such a nice spot has been ruined.

The high tea that we had in the Homestead was really delicious. The savoury, the scones and cakes were nice and fresh. The staff were very attentive and pleasant.

Two of us had Devonshire tea with a date and plain scone each, and my wife had a hot chocolate. So lovely, if you're anywhere near Wanganui you really must come experience this charming nature refugee.
