York Street Cafe
I visited this spot during my Northland trip. I must say, this was the only cafe in the whole of Russell who opened at 8 in the morning. I spoke to the old guy at the counter, guess he was the owner and he told that they had revised their timings for busy Christmas period. I was so thankful to him for this. The food was good and the Coffee was great. The Waitstaff also has good customer service skills. Would definitely visit this place again and would highly recommend! Cheers

Nice coffee ive ever tried really im sure but plates were very simple haha just white thats all .. and that dish named English something breakfast was super nice

Love coming here for breakfast when we are up in Russell. Wouldn't go anywhere else!! Lovely atmosphere, great friendly people and super coffee. Definitely recommend the bacon and eggs!!!!

Tucked away at the end of town this looks fairly ordinary with a very down to earth menu but we had a lovely lunch here at an outside table. The staff made you feel welcome, the prices were better than cafes on the water front which are over priced and you avoid the tourist crowds. As long as your not after some fancy Auckland meal this place is worth a look.

I would highly recommend the York street all day breakfast. Absolutely fantastic. Staff here will cater to your hunger pains land are more then willing to customise your meal and provide great customer service. I will definitely be coming here whenever I visit Russell! Food glorious food!

Actually a really nice small and cozy coffee place with good service and nice food. Expect more a place to sit down and enjoy the food rather than take away for the beach - but surely good place to Weather a drizzle or two meanwhile

Our first stop in russel and we grabbed a long black and ended up chatting away with the staff who were accommodating and friendly, offering good advice on the area and gave us a map. Nice local feel to start the trip off :)Cheers
