These people moved my mum, I do not recommend them. After being told the amount of furniture we had, which was not a huge amount, and that we required a big truck, they showed up not only hours early but with a tiny truck meaning we had to pay a significant amount more as a result of multiple trips. They damaged numerous items including many dents in the fridge, a large dent on our new dining table and they broke a bookbookshelf among other things. And after she complained about the damage no sent photos they never responded

They were awesome. Karl was very good at communicating by email and phone right from start to finish. Loaded up and delivered our furniture to our new address over 300km away without any hassles. Very competitive pricing. Would recommend A2B movers to anyone.

What a absolute negligent joke of a company 5k of damage in a 3 hour move . Was moved out on the 07 June 2017 from taurunga to Auckland massive amounts of damage totaling easily over 5k !! And they will not cover any of it as they have no insurance . This was not discussed prior to the move . Deposit was paid well in advance no call to say if it was revived or any paperwork received. When the truck turned up the two guys looked great but this soon turned out not to be the case fist up was a cut from 9ne of the guys . Half of a truck load including beds x 2 bean bags white cubbords and appliances covered in blood and not cleaned YUK !!! At the end of the load up i saw there was space and asked both guys if they could freight my bike on the back , they said no problem that was loaded with me saying it was good there insurance would cover any damage then I was told with with humor that the truck was missing 2 gears 4th and 5th not sure if this was legal or not . Once goods were revived at the other end there was massive damage all around my bike was destroyed every side of the bike was scratched and cracked fairings the side stand was so bent that it cannot be used anymore and won't go back up in place. Boxes labeled clearly FRAGILE were flattened my solid dining room table leg was snapped off my bbq had both wheels smashed off and the lid dented and burned knobs broken including the ignite knob smashed . My 3 month old fridge looked like it had been dropped on it's side massive gouge in the side and bottom front bubble packed mirror smashed cubbords broken and the list goes on now there is no contact at all from the company no phone calls to sort the issue out. Disgusting company management. I will see you in court

It would have been the 3rd time I used Dave and his team. So I guess that speaks for itself, that I keep using them. Dave came on his own this last time,moving my gear from storage in Tauranga to my new address in Wellington, a long drive. He kept me informed of ETA updates due to traffic etc. I am in a wheelchair and personally understands my limitations , due to past life experiences. Their rates are very competitive, and I now feel no need to get a second quote as I know I won't be overcharged, if anything not enough, as I usually end up finding extra gear to move at the last minute!. The good thing is that on occasion I have had less stuff than quoted for so gives me a refund, and if I go over, I am happy to add any extra $ to cover things. I highly recommend him and his team to anyone that wants, fast, efficient and personal service.

If you are considering using these people this is what I suggest that you take into account. I have very nice furniture and asked them to protect it. They did wrap my dining table but not my chairs nor my couch. I was horrified to see that they let them drag on the ground and while they were virtually brand new became very dirty. I had asked them and reminded them repeatedly to bring mattress bags to protect my expensive and virtually brand new beds. When they arrived they threw some Storage King bags at me and said ...here

They were AWESOME! Quick to respond with quote and questions & clear communication.On the day they were spot on time. Dave & Adam were efficient, careful, friendly and super professional. I was really worried about my grandmothers antique table that came from England, they took extra care & not 1 damage to any furniture. We were super impressed! We will definitely be using A2B movers again. Highly reccomend them.

A 2 B helped us with our move from Kawerau to Morrinsville. Moving can be a stressful enough time but A 2 B made it quick and painless with great friendly service. Good value, punctual and fully prepared and equipped. While we don't plan on moving again any time soon, but would gladly use A 2 B again

These guys were hired to move my elderly mum from tauranga to Pukekohe. Her house was not easy access and the owner said that a 3rd person would be there to help lift furniture over a 2 storey balcony. That 3rd person never turned up so me who has a bad back and im 50 was asked to lift with them. I had no choice so had to help with everything. The movers were not particularly careful with anything and we have found of scratches as a result. Plus they were very slow compared to others I have used in the past. Then the truck drove to Auckland without a totally covered in truck and we ended up with wet furniture and mattresses. I would never recommend them to anyone. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. A2B Movers in Tauranga...what an awful experience... please do not hire Dave the owner/operater he is absolutely appalling!! No call to say they had been delayed so after waiting an hour and half to hear from them I called to see when they’d arrive to pack up my house. We’d had all our furniture and boxes sitting on the lawn ready to pick up by 7am. They turned up 4.5 hours later than agreed which made it 5:30pm!! It was almost dark!Dave hardly spoke to me the whole move he was rude and ignorant to our requests. He helped himself to a drink and asked to charge his phone too. Not only were they 4.5 hours late they then took a break for dinner with our stuff in their truck. They arrived to unpack around 7:30pm and whilst unpacking dropped some draws off the side of the truck spilling nails all over our driveway. (Which is covered in stones so hard to pick them up) we have young children so not ideal.Our 3 young children had no way of going to bed our youngest was really sick at the time too. After the move Dave came in to give us the invoice and demanded that we pay it there and then even though it says you have 24 hours to pay... he was threatening and intimadating. He even said if we didn’t pay at the time he’d get his boys back in to take furniture as payment.An upsetting awful experience that I’d hate to think others may have to go through!!On the other hand the guys he had doing all the hard work were awesome!
