This is one of Hawkes bays hidden gems, for locally hand made and crafted goodies, either as gifts for others or something for yourself. Nice prices and service. There is also a coffee cart in their carpark area (sorry I don't know it's operating hours - but I've seen it to be very popular). My one annoyance is that it is not far from a main highway, but is not advertised. While siky oaks the chocolate factory is, and they are only a few meters away from each other.Waiohiki is a smaller settlement just south of Taradale, Napier. Call in for a look. You may leave with a gift. Or inspiration if you are the creative type.

The Village is wonderful and has so much to offer. Taradale pottery club has amazing range of pottery for sale and has many classes and workshops to choose from. Tutors and members are very friendly with lots of wonderful advice and heaps of knowledge to offer.There are many other artists that share and sell their creations!! Come and check it out.

I like to support these art co op enterprises. They do awesome work and spend so much time on their craft - Bronze, pottery etc. Had a really interesting tour back of gallery on bronzing.

This place had a pretty cool, eclectic mix from a variety of different artists. Reasonably priced and enough variety to find gifts for a huge range of people. Will definitely visit again

Local artists cooperative. Artists change so always something new. Friendly, cozy a bit ramshackle, ( but that's actually essential , really, isn't it?), full of warm welcoming atmosphere.Not a slick, posh gallery. This is a working environment for real artists amateur, Professional or hobbyist. All are welcome. Get yourself down there and look through the tools and paraphernalia to the actual work and then look past that to the people who produce the work. They're madder than a bag of cats and I love them all.

I learnt to weave my first piece, Riwa Wawatai is an amazing Kai Raranga (Master Weaver) who offers short courses. Well worth attending.
