Sydenham Park
Good CCC facility. Grounds have been upgraded in the last couple of years so they are well drained in winter. Toilet block in the south eastern corner, cricket pavilion in the north west corner. Parking around the grounds can get tricky after 9am on a Saturday.

Good parking around the park there is a car park across the other side of Colombo and brouham streets but plenty of other options. Grass is well maintained for cricket or rugby depending on the season. Close to nearby shops for drinks or food. Toilets are what you would expect for a public toilet. Sydenham cricket and rugby clubs based here. Selwyn Hockey as well?

A large area of grass exactly the same as 100 other parks in ChChIt is fenced however which should appeal to families with younger not so street wise children.

Excellent rugby and cricket park. The recently laid new grass is really good making the surface under foot top class.

New play equipment makes it a lot better. Great place for the kids to let off steam. Just have to be careful with the busy car park nearby, but there is a marked cruising and a locking gate. Near a library too. Shame about the dreadful public toilets.
