Always a busy ED, though Sue the ED doc took her time to talk us through the issues well. She was empathetic during a difficult time.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Government needs to seriously look at better resourcing for them. I was there yesterday night and all the nurses were very caring, specially nurse Kevin he was very gentle and supportive.Thanks for your assistance team.

Arrived after 2am at KidsFirst with a child crying of earache, triaged by the nurse and given painkillers. Five hours later and still no sign of a doctor. Some parents with sick children already left.

I never wanted to speak out about this place because when I was younger it was like home but in the last few years it has gone down hill. My wife has been waiting in the emergency room for 6 hours so far and not been seen by a doctor and only given one lot of pain relief - 5 hours ago. There is only one doctor working so I’m not blaming them but come on… it’s the emergency room… have more doctors and be more urgent. Something needs to be changed because it can’t be going like this… it’s not the first time in the last year I’ve had the same problems so… sort it out.

Worst hospital ever. Its been almost 12 hours and haven't had anything new come to light. They have not even been able to source a bed so that we can move out of room 1. Poor service! And the worst part is the nurses talk rudely when you ask them how long.

Please don’t come here. I walked in and saw so many people in the waiting room it was packed. I had an infected finger with a red line tracking up my arm and was told the wait is hours, but there’s an a and e up the road I could try?????Useless, uncaring, incompetent and an embarrassment to medical professionals.I’ve been to better operating 3rd world hospitals than Middlemore. But, nothing will change because they don’t care.
