Sq Bar

The cocktails were disgusting. They didn’t contain real alcohol and were very expensive. As a visitor to Auckland was very disappointed with this bar!! Would not recommend !!

They don't pay their bills... supplied them with wine over a year ago and have chased and chased for payment. Don't supply them!

This guy was so rude!!!!! So dissappointed!!!! I dropped a bottle of wine and I asked if there was newspaper to wrap the shattered glass. All he told me was ‘clean up and go. Don’t ask anymore. Don’t talk to me” what a rude person. Was so dissappointed. I was just asking so that the shattered glass won’t pierce the rubbish bag. It’s just common sense to wrap glass with newspaper. How rude. So so dissappointed. This man should not be even working at the bar.

Everyone has a right to ask about the charges they get charged. I had my friends over for 3 hours and we paid as got all our drinks. later my partner n his friend joined me and we decided to go in Tab and pay the charges later since we were thinking about a long night. The bill we got matched nothing we had the whole night. My partner went to pay the bill and the owner served him and ask him to $369 and without offering receipt. later, I went in and asked for the receipt which had 4 items on it and when I went to ask about the item shown on the receipt the owner went so rude thinking we were drunk and would pay whatever is on the receipt. I have just seen the old reviews and this seems to be the issue with them. This is highly concerning where most of us just pay the amount on Tab and to begin with the bartender made us to go Tab and said it will easier for him to charge us and thus we agreed to it. apart from all the rough ending we had to go through, one of the staff member asked us to leave and it was affecting the other customer cause all they could care was the money. Highly recommend to check your bills and they would charge what ever you like and won't care to explain the bill either.

We were the only people when we visited here & the service was great. The Asahi could not have been colder. Unsure about these other reviews.

Make sure you get the girls to order the drinks, the barman will just ignore you (grey beard) and then take the next girl who walks up order instead. Doesn't matter if you do him favours and shift around the bar at his request so he can cater to other people. Lovely waitresses. Get this dude away from customer facing roles for the sake of the business.

The guy who works at the bar was the worst person I've ever encountered in Auckland. Such a rude person who doesn't belong in Hospitality! (Guy with grey mustache and beard)
