Had multiple examples of ID but because I didn’t have a photo I wasn’t allowed in an R13 movie keep in mind I’m 16 and look older than I am and the name it was booked under was my surname the same surname which was on all my identification but it gets worse. They still charged me for the UNOPENED food I bought not letting me get my money back and although I can get the tickets refunded I can’t get a refund on the insanely overpriced food.

The best movie theatre in NZBig seats and spacious. Also, cleanA little bit of extra pay, you get the lazy boy seats. So so recommend

Good place. Seems like some of the counter staff lack the confidence in knowledge of there job tho. Had to claim my tickets at the desk instead of the kiosk and the worker didn't know what was wrong either. Thought it maybe of been the rating as we had a 17 yo with us but it was rated M. Turns out the recliner was broken.

Great experience!! I go here very often.I went to see John wick 4 and it was fabulous.Had my dinner brought to me in the cinema by the lovely staff.The popcorn was fresh and buttery/salty.Excellent customer service at the front.Recommended to all that would like a fresh cooked dinner and a movieThank you Tauriko event cinema staff!!

Great service, friendly staff. The cinema seats are clean & comfortable, & the quality is incomparable to other cinemas around. Watched the new Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse, which was an amazing movie. Would love to go there again with my friends.

Wow, went to watch Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and what a place to watch this. The chairs were very comfortable and the food always a winner with me and the whānau. Well done, thoroughly enjoyed this place.
