I'm concerned about the effect of synthetic fertiliser on our waterways. The industrial dairy industry is an environmental disaster for Aotearoa, with nitrates killing our rivers, causing high rates of bowel cancer, endangering unborn babies, and contributing to the climate crisis. Do we really need dairy? Are there better ways to grow our food? Think about what kind of future you want and does this future need to include synthetic fertiliser?
