Best easy beach walk in the region with safe walking, children's play areas, cafes and pebble beach. Well sign posted for walkways and rules for dogs. Overall a safe place to be

Beautiful calm beach for swimming in summer. Dog friendly beach. Parking and toilet available. I think you can get here in a bus too. Watch sunset and sunrise and ferries go by. Some people were also casting fishing from roadside and wharf. There is a 4 Square supermarket and restaurants nearby too. Worth visiting.

Fantastic beach to walk along with your dog. Watch the ferry come in through the heads and the birds playing around.It will be quite a tranquil spot in the evening while the sun is setting.

Have come hear several summers.Lovely sheltered grassed area, however 1 of the 2 toilets (just past swimming pool) is closed. When really busy long long queues.Seems to be the same ever summer (busy period). Shame city council don't seem to care as they drop the ball on this every summer.

Awesome spot to catch a couple of phat kahawai, the odd cod, a gurnard or two, etc. Well set up, with heaps of rod holders, a bait station, and good lighting for a night fish.
