Sea Quest Apartment - Nelson Waterfront Accommodation

Fantastic apartment. Loads of space. Comfortable beds and great outlook.Just bring your earplugs as it has a lot of road noise.The Styx across is almost too handy! Great for a drink or food. Or both!

A nice spacious apartment, comfortable beds, but it had not been cleaned before we arrived. We notified op manager straight away and he did offer to come and clean there and then but it was early evening and we said no, come tomorrow. We did ask for a refund for the 1st night but only got 50%. It ended up an unpleasant experience as we were told continually and i might add rudely, by management it was not that bad, we felt we were not being listened to and as a customer, we were treated badly. It took 3 staff 1 hour to clean (equivalent to 3 hours work). Old food stuck on utensils, crumbs and hair in utensil draw, filthy oven and crusted stove top. Old chip in a dish in pantry. Dirty fingerprints on containers and power points even stones on the carpet in main bedroom. Venetian blind in the bedroom absolutely filthy. Couldn't use the place mats for the wooden table as food was crusted on those. But hey beds were clean. We would never deal with HolidayNelson again, and hope no one else has to go through that. We have stayed in luxury apartments for the last 4 years and they were absolutely spotlessly clean, BUT SEA QUEST WAS NOT CLEAN.
