No other customers wearing masks and not asked to. Also got our order wrong, probably because we were wearing masks…. The coffee we did get (lattes, we ordered mochas) was fine, just not a good experience overall

Bottomless batch brew for $4 - absolutely delicious coffee. Sparrows also have pour over coffee options, V60 etc. Great free wifi. Amazing space for freelancers to hang out and work. Beautiful open white space - love the decor. Best part - the crew here are so warm and friendly. Highly recommend if you are a coffee lover. It's SO GOOD.

Amazing coffee, super relaxed atmosphere. Came here for a FAWC event a couple of years ago (in conjunction with Central Fire Station) and fell in love with the place and the coffee. This is our first trip back and it was sooooo good. Sat for a couple of hours to do some work and sampled a great latte and their AMAZING cold brew coffee. Great staff too, thanks for having us again ❤️

It's a very nice cafe. Highly recommended. It's high brow coffee with a blue collar background. The place is not too big, but there's plenty of seating. They roast their coffee on-site, and it smells wonderful. It's a great place for a quick coffee, or to sit and enjoy either alone or with friends. The best thing is that they do a cold brew coffee. I like regular coffee, but I love a cold coffee that is both delicious and not a dessert, no ice cream required. Sparrows is one of the few places in the Bay to offer it, and I'm pretty sure their other cafe, George's on Tennyson, is the first place in Hawke's Bay to offer cold brew. Try it. It's life changing.
