Ambience and vibe was really good.Pricey as compared to their sister resto Saigon 60s.approx 20-30 nzd/food item. Better to share with family and friends.We loved the calamari and soft shell crabs.Pork belly was too flavorful for us that we needed plain rice with it.Same with the soy chicken wings, better with plain rice.Add avocado smoothie in your menu please!Salmon was perfectly cooked.

I really did enjoy the customer service and look of the restaurant, we had two of the smaller plates, duck and the soft shell crab and then two mains mussels and prawn salad and unfortunately the mussels were really overpriced about 7 mussels for $28 which is ridiculous pricing. I did enjoy it but would I come back probably not as there are more restaurants that give you more for your money and now days that counts for a lot

Service was fairly slow, and the food was not great. Tuna appetizer and the pork belly buns were decent, but the stir fried beef entree was really disappointing.

The civilised cousin of Saigon 60s nearby., this space has ambient music, lots of staff and is licensed in a well curated and decorated space.The menus - described as fusion - is a little bit of everything. Our table of 6 opted for a Duck Curry, Pork Belly, Bun Nem and some other specials.The food was good (although there were surprisingly few gluten free options for an Asian restaurant when discarding the salads on a cyclonic, stormy night), if not spectacular. Ice cream trio and creme brûlée were judged to be good. Beer on tap and wine available by the glass. Very pleasant, and dry, surroundings on an otherwise unpleasant evening.Worth revisiting

They have a unique range of cocktails, vegan options, and friendly staff. The food is always fresh and tasty. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The vegan options are great and there is something for everyone. The cocktails are amazing and the atmosphere is always relaxed and enjoyable.

Oh the yumminess you get here! Wonderful, attentive staff who are friendly as well. The food is fantastic, we highly recommend the pork belly - the bok choy in that sauce is so good!! Macha Creme Brulee is the perfect ending! A+ cocktails too ❤️❤️

A great fusion place. We had the tuna tataki and the caramelised pork belly. Very tasty, and good service. A good selection of mocktails is greatly appreciated - we had the Asian Passion (kind of like a virgin passionfruit mojito). Highly recommend Mekong Buffalo

Mekong Buffalo has always been one of my favorite restaurants. I always go there weekly and mostly on Saturday or Sunday.I usually go there in the morning because of the quietness and the lovely service attitude. However, today I was served by another lady, she wasn't too bad either. But what makes me make this comment is that this morning the presence of a little girl at the restaurant has lost the original atmosphere of the restaurant . Instead of focusing on us, she has to focus on her daughter. We only saw her on arrival, when ordering and after bringing the food out, she never came back. The noise and the presence of the child ruined our beautiful lunch. Taking your child to work is inappropriate and should be avoided.

My new favorite restaurant in Rotorua.Restaurant was busy.Reasonable prices.Service was amazing.The kai did not take too long to get to the table.Both the wife and I loved our kai and will definitely be back.

I have to say that this was excellent food. As well as the really nice fresh flavours the atmosphere and decor are top notch also. Great for a group of friends or if you want to impress on a date.I had the soft shell crab and the prawn and green papaya salad. I would recommend.
