Do not buy from this business. We bought fillet steak from here after it changed hands. It was terrible. Go somewhere where the meat is reputable. Will never go back to this store or the store they have taken over in Devonport Road, the old Classic Cuts.

Picked out a frozen 4kg sirloin roast and put it on the grill for Christmas. 10 minutes on each side at high heat then about an hour on the grill at 190C. It tasted wonderful and was like butter. At $15 a kilo was a heck of a great deal for such a great piece of meat.

I am sorry to hear your losses, I am a retail business owner and get targeted by these low creepy people. Police takes no action but in turn I get warnings from the police and get charged. When I am ready to go to the court the police withdraw the charges. The crimes will repeat as these offenders are supported by the police and the law. Feel sorry for you. Take care

Always had top notch service here. If youre into low and slow or hot and fast bbqing or just want some nice meat for the weekly shopping, these guys are your best mate. They have a nice selection of meat rubs(can't wait for it to start growing!) and beautiful choices of fresh and frozen meat. This should be your go to butcher in the Mount.

This store has a huge selection of fresh and frozen meat, and everything we've bought has been great quality! We're American and were thrilled to find the New Zealand equivalent of our flank steak (called skirt steak here) which we love to marinate, grill, and cut into strips to serve. They also have other hard to find cuts of meat. Of course they have pork and poultry, too. I was shocked to see they even sell frozen turkeys! Incidentally, the staff has always been very nice and helpful. This is our go-to butcher in New Zealand.
