Lovely hike to the falls. A bit more of an effort getting to the top waterfall but worth it for the view. The water is very cold though but after a long sweaty trek it's rather refreshing.

Fabulous, safe and easy walking track through forest and along streams, a loop walk with the lovely waterfall being the perfect central point. Lots of photo opportunities here. Highly recommended.

Very nice hiking track! There are so many different plants. Most of the time you walk besides a stream. The waterfall was huge because of the amount of rain in the last few days.

A scenic track leading down to the falls themselves. From the start with a large tree trunk that you can step inside to walking an undulating path with the sounds of the water flowing getting louder as you get closer. A 25 minute walk which is easily doubled as you stop to admire the scenery and the sounds of the birds.Your first site of the falls is through the Bush foliage and then a short few steps and your standing beneath an awesome fall dropping into a pool which is dimmable. You can cross the falls walk up the opposite side and that takes you to the top. You can venture close to the edge but have good boots as it can be slippery. From here you can see the magnificence of the forest spread out before you. There are small look out posts well signed off tracks and plenty to explore.

Beautifully refurbished track. 25 mins to the falls with a decent pace. The waterfalls basin is nice and refreshing to dive in.Always remember to scrub your shoes to prevent kauri dieback so we can enjoy this beautiful place for generations to come.

A great track that leads to cozy beaches and a stunning summit. Some parts are steep with a medium hiking difficulty.

Beautiful walk all the way, pretty easy too, wouldn't recommend for strollers if you want to get to the falls. One thing rarely mentioned is to get to climb to the top of the waterfall, you have to cross a river by going over large rocks, so only attempt this if you're experienced or not going solo. Also, to get to the base of the waterfall, the steps are good until the wooden steps stop, then you're climbing down steep slippery rocks which is a little dangerous but there are handrails around, just a heads up if you want those great Instagram shots

Hard walk for anyone with low fitness levels, or breathing disabilities(asthma) its mainly ALL up hill i only made it to the water fall, getting from one side of the track to the other is abit of a mission too, its also VERY busy when open (not lockdown) also if you take your dog please remember to keep it on a lead.
