Ezi Car Rental - Auckland Domestic Airport

Easy, honest, quick, fast, I realy had no issues. Pick up is right at the terminal, drop-off if not familiar with Auckland is a little confusing as google points you the the office not the drop off zone.... But hey, found it and drop off was supper fast and easy.

Beware credit card fraud.Ezi Car Rental charged our credit card ~$90 one month after our vehicle rental, with no correspondence or advice about this charge. When I called to ask about this charge I was advised it was an infringement, but they were unable to describe what kind of infringement or give any information at all about it. Their explanation for not letting us know about the infringement was that our email address did not work, however they did not use the email address from the booking, or attempt any of the other contact details provided. The email address they tried to use was from a booking 5 years ago - it would have worked, but they did not spell it correctly. Ezi Car Rental terms and conditions clearly explain their process for managing infringements, but they have failed to follow their own process, rather opting to charge the customer credit card directly.Meanwhile we're still waiting to understand the details of this infringement.Be very careful when using Ezi Car Rentals and check your credit card statement to ensure they have not passed on unexplained charges.

Incredible experience. New, tidy car. Smooth check-in. Friendly staff. Amazing prices. Always happy to rent with these guys.

Best experience I ever had in AU and NZ , the staff was so friendly when we picked up our Ute and gave useful information 1 day before via email , cars are also in good condition as well , and I think you should put more advertisements overseas as we don’t know this wonderful local rental brand as a foreigner , but I will definitely let all my friends who will visits NZ rent with you guys.

Got the full red tape experience. Okay so my driving license is Portuguese, but it is a European license. All European licenses have the same codes. The dates are...in English....there's a picture of a car on the license which means....car. Had to pay $45 and wait 30 minutes for a translation of my license. They told me I should have gone to the embassy first and get a translation...very practical. I certainly feel at the edge of the world...even Portuguese bureaucracy is less than this.

Booked online. Phoned 0800 to let them know plane is late. Arrived branch closed renovation ? No signs. Walked in the rain with all the luggage to inter national terminal. Branch closed relocated. There was with direction where to go. The person there was rude and arguing that the domestic brunch is open ... but arownd the bilding ( no signage , i 'we asked an airport personell and was pointed to the ... brunch that was renovated). One can not pay with eftpos must have credit card with driver's name !I do not posess a crystal ball...Thank you for your reply. Too late. We needed this information BEFORE getting to Auckland nor 3 days AFTER...

Ezi Car Rental - Auckland Domestic vehicles overall experience was excellent! The staff were absolutely lovely & very helpful. Their vehicle we hired for our 10 day road trip was brand new & we felt safe at all times. I’m definitely coming back here to hire my car on our next road trip to Nz.

Great customer service from before we arrived (confirming car seat and helping when I needed to extend by a day) as well as friendly staff at the counter. I’m not sure how others found it hard to find the parking area - it was very easy. Car was almost new and in gear condition. Pick up and drop-off was painless. Would definitely use them again.
