Contact - dkbarrister | Daniel Kerr is a barrister practising in Napier, Hawke’s Bay. He studied law (with honours) and politics at the University of Otago. After graduating at the top of his year, Daniel was admitted to the Bar in 2000. From 2000 to 2003 Daniel worked in the Wellington office of Kensington Swan. In late 2003 Daniel took up a bursary to study at the University of Cambridge in England, where completed a first class Masters degree in law in 2004. From 2005 to 2010 Daniel was employed at Elvidge and Partners, litigation lawyers in Napier. His role involved working as a crown prosecutor and he also maintained a busy and varied civil litigation practice. Daniel commenced practice as a barrister sole in April 2010.
