Animates Glen Innes

Took the cats here for very overdue boosters as they have to go into the cattery facility shortly... Philippa was a lovely vet. Discussed everything, very gentle with the scared babies as she did a thorough exam, and didn't lecture me about how long it had been since their last vaccinations. And the price wasn't as bad as I was expecting...

I bought some fish here that I liked and as a result lost about 30 of the fish I had before, they were infected with a parasite and took me 3 weeks to get rid of while constantly loosing fish and having to treat them every few days and do water changes. I've kept fish for 20 years and never experienced sush a bad contamination. I'll never buy fish from any animates store in my life.

They have everything you need for your pet. Just that they don't sell pets anymore.They are the hosts of the awesome team at Skin Vet. After struggling for a very long time, at last, my pets Skin is showing signs of recovery. It has certainly led to a much happier dog.

We come here for my two cats.This Animates branch has a great selection of pet products such as food, toy, accessaries etc. There is a vet clinic and dog wash station on site. The staff are knowledgeable and super helpful.

So impressed with this clinic I had to write a review!The vet Phillipa was the best vet we’ve ever met; she didn’t shame us for not having regular visits and took such good care of our 16yr old cat, instantly giving her a quick kiss on the head to make her feel at ease and you could genuinly tell she cared about this animal she just met 60 seconds ago.Victoria also gave us excellent service; when we initially called she didn’t think we were silly for wanting an urgent appointment and put us at ease. When we came in store at the appointment time, she greeted us with our cats name (remembering it from the phone call). Immediately gave us a blanket to cover the cat cage and make our cat comfortable. We asked several additional questions about medication and extra advice, and didn’t make us feel extra.It really make the difference to some nervous cat parents. THANK YOU.

Super RIP OFF MERCHANTS. One product in their store 'my beau' price tag $50.99 , over the road at pet stock its $30 . Makes me wonder what else has massive mark ups , probably smarter just not to shop there at all with that kind of mark up strategy.

DISGUSTING treatment, DANGEROUS cheap products They sold me a cat play toy which came apart and choked my cat (see photo, BE WARNED). The feather 'tail' just comes off in the cat's mouth. When I asked their vet for help they got snarky and refused to help or discuss the issue. BE CAREFUL OF THEIR PRODUCTS they are unsafe, over-priced, cheaply made and DANGEROUS. Staff are very young, inexperienced, and rude if you have a problem. I'd give them MINUS stars if I could.

I totally recommend the Glen Innes Animates store and Vetcare team. The teams in retail and vet clinic are friendly, knowledgeable and always interested in providing the best care, products and advice for our furry friends.

Friendly and very helpful team. A good range of products. There is also a small vet clinic in there which I never knew about
