Smith & Smith Timaru

I had to wait a week and a half for a screen change, then I left my car with them for another week and a half and had abysmal customer support, no replies after multiple calls to their contact number and no info on when the job would be done. I'll never be going back.If you had replied to me as quickly as you have here and kept me informed of progress then there never would have been an issue :(

I want to sincerely thank the guys at Smith & Smith Timaru. I had a difficult situation with a work vehicle and they went above and beyond to squeeze a windscreen replacement in for me at a time when they were very busy. Much appreciated! Thanks guys

shocking customer service experience. I was told by their employeethat they haven't got time to talk to me. Terrible customer service.

Great easy to deal with. We had a small repair done. Good communication. We had a coffee across the road at Robert Harris while we waited.

I left with missing and broken parts . DO NOT TRUST THEM , go to auto glass by ara . Much better service !!Sent my car in for window replacement. Car was perfect prior only broken window …. Get it back think it’s all okay .. then the rain starts late that night … I’m having to drive home with broken window wipers .. the drive was also hour all up . I had no choice but to drive home as well .Very unsafe cheers mate !Please read all the reviews to this business! I wish I did that before going in … there’s others who have had missing parts or dents in there cars …Save your money ,hassle and just got to auto glass ! Way more professional and respectful .. plus awesome prices.

Excellent service from Darren.We arrived initially without an appointment for advice,which he happily gave us and then managed to fit us in for a repair.Great customer service and much appreciated from the bus people

After a failed WOF I went for a new windscreen. It needed to be ordered in. It was wrong one. The correct screen needed to come from overseas.After some time of waiting I contacted S&S to see progress. I then got a text to come in the next day. It wasn't there. what are you doing here" says the manager. Week following I went back. Left car for fitting. Later that day received a call saying they could not fit screen as the Lane detect had a fault. Car had to be trucked to Christchurch to get a diagnosis. Course of fault. A dirty windscreen. Car first went to S&S Timaru 20 January 2021. It did not get the new screen fitted and then returned to me till 25 March 2021. Found staff cavalier

three trips to get window screen fixed.. first time they broke the replacemnet window and had to put in another one that was not in correctly so wind would be heard going fast speeds.. second window and glue everywhere on inside and outside of the car we had to go back to get the missing bits from the car they left out
