Fantastic service. Professional and very experienced movers. Door to door service. Very accurate estimation of boxes so the quotes were spot on. Communication with Laura and Sarah (moving consultants) was very quick and accurate via email.2 strong men turned up to my moving day exactly as scheduled, confirming items to pack away. Work non stop and 4 hours later, 40 boxes professionally packed, loaded in the van.40 boxes arrived at new location a week earlier than expected but only 1 man turned up for delivery. A little disappointing at the service received at Australia side compare to NZ, wife and I had to help unpack while the delivery man slowly wheel 40 boxes into my new apartment. Good news was all items in the 40 boxes received no damage what so ever! Packaging materials and boxes were taken away after unpacking, so no mess was left behind.Overall, very happy for the money I paid for the professional moving service. Will definitely recommend it to anyone moving from NZ to Aus. Remember, you are paying for the experienced guys to make the moving as little stress as possible, and AusMove is absolutely the pro.

Aman (manager) was very thorough, thoughtful and honest with the consultation. Ray and Sam L who came to help with moving on the day were fantastic. I chose Ausmove because of good reviews, they certainly exceeded my expectation. Professional, fast and efficient. One of the residents in the same building told me that he would use Ausmove if Ausmove also offers domestic services. I would highly recommend Ausmove to any of my families and friends.

We moved some of our household items from Dunedin to the Sunshine Coast. We were really impressed how quickly Laura from Ausmove responded to all queries even though we changed our minds a few times about what exactly we wanted to ship. The value for money was also exceptional as was the care they took to wrap everything. The company they worked with in Australia was just as good. We can recommend them unreservedly. We were quoted and paid $5,836.42 to get some belongings moved from Tauranga to QLD. Storage was paid separatley each month by us at $130.00 p.m, on top of original amount.9.69 cubic metres total.The largest item being a bed and a chest of drawers the rest was boxed personal effect, not a house full of furniture. Our plans changed and we decided to stay in Auckland. We now required goods to be sent to Auckland from Tauranga. They told us we owed more money on top of the $5836.42 to get our belongings from Tauranga to Auckland!!!! go figure.Each time we queried the amount a different explanation was given. First of all additional storage costs, which was wrong per contract, then they justified it by saying it was GST, then Insurance. No back up documentation to verify how they have come up with ths figure.The packers in Tauranga were excellent the rest of it office precedures, costs, etc were disgraceful.Would definately not recommend.3 weeks later and still no reponse................

DO NOT waste your time, energy and money on this company. Customer service slow and unprofessional. The packers packed our things so poorly, it is unbelievable. So many things smashed to pieces, torn or crushed. Very disappointing and upsetting. Terrible experience, such a waste of money and time - wish I had never chosen them. Beware of good reviews on their website!!!

ALL our stuff was intact when it arrived at our doorstep. Top customer service at the most competitive rates, with reliable systems in place.I used Ausmove to move between Auckland (New Zealand) to Melbourne (Australia). The entire process from receiving a quote, asking questions, shipping my household goods out to receiving my goods in Melbourne was truly a breeze. I dealt with one person in NZ, and one person in Australia. Laura in NZ was amazing; she was knowledgable, responded to all my emails quickly, followed up - took care of me the whole way.The guys who came in to lift my household goods on moving day packaged everything thoroughly and upon receiving my goods in Australia nothing was damaged. Their transport partner in Australia also went out of their way to make a special delivery to suit my schedule and didn’t charge me any extra even though my apartment was up stairs and had difficult parking restrictions.I received quotes from at least 6 other companies, none were as competitive and thorough in their quote as Ausmove was. I have nothing but praise for Ausmove and their high quality of service. And I will be recommending them to anyone looking to move overseas.

My husband and I have recently located from Christchurch, New Zealand to Chinchilla, Queensland with this company. The price was competitive and Laura, our coordinator for much of the move, was very informative. It's unfortunate that the contractor Ausmove used for the Christchurch end of our move was not brilliant - they knowingly sent used fruit boxes to Australia when they had committed to repack them, and they wrapped three plates at a time, didn't wrap any of our framed certificates, and just tossed ornaments in a box and then tapped it up. Needless to say, this resulted in fines from customs for the fruit boxes and heaps of breakages. The contractor in question (the Moving Company) had advised for me to just go with them for the entirety of our move, rather than have an overarching company like Ausmove picking contractors on either end. But I'm glad I went with Ausmove. Ausmove followed up The Moving Company and made them pay the fees for the fruit boxes. They also arranged a substantial good will payment to cover damage to the dehumidifier bar in my piano and the destruction of my husband's and my dinner set. The good will payment came through just yesterday. The ride may not have always been smooth, but I can confirm that Ausmove does follow up if service is not satisfactory at first. For problem resolutions, I will give them a five out five.
