Refresh Renovations Auckland Central - Jim Gleeson

We recently used Jim Gleeson and his team for our kitchen and bathroom renovation. Initially, we only wanted to renovate the kitchen but during work, I decided to also add wooden floor sand and polish, plus a bathroom and toilet renovation. Jim took everything in his stride and recommended and used some awesome tradespeople for the floor polishing, tiling, shower installation, building work, and kitchen installation. I have found Jim and his team easy to deal with, with a fantastic attitude, great advice, and awesome attention to detail. He was always just a phone call away and even after the completion of the work I was able to contact him and his team for some great advice and aftercare service.

Jim Gleeson and Refresh Renovations have worked with us over the last couple of years to extensively renovate our home - re-roofing, renovating our upper level including replacing some windows and glass, and then the biggie, new kitchen, dining room and redecorating our living area.It has been a complex project and having Jim and the Refresh team coordinating it made all the difference. Budgets were comprehensive, so we were always confident of the work being done to our specifications, and knew exactly what proposed changes would add to the cost. Refresh staff are all very approachable and understand how 'renovation fatigue' can set in and were always ready to help make the process as smooth as possible. The extra push to get the kitchen finished before Christmas was greatly appreciated!We would not hesitate to recommend Refresh to others (and have done so already).

Although we are ardent about doing our own renovations, this time our ages along with the complexity of a bathroom and civil engineering required for the driveway meant we needed someone to project manage the several skills required. This is new territory for us and we are quite particular about what we want done and perhaps how things should happen. Jim Gleeson has managed consultation, design and specification with depth of technical expertise along with excellent communications. He “listens to his clients” particularly well and offers sage advice when needed. At the end of this first phase of renovation we are confident that the project is in very capable hands with him and his team at KKG Ltd.

Jim Gleeson and his Refresh Renovations team completed some major renovation work at our new home including a garage to bedroom conversion, taking out walls, creating a 2nd toilet room and opening up our small bathroom, relining walls and building a new pantry. From conception of the plan to filing the building consent application right through to liaising with Council to get the final CCC upon completion of the works Jim and his team were professional, did great work, managed the project to the smallest detail and their communication was exceptional. I have no hesitation in recommending Jim and his refresh team for your renovation needs and we would use them again.
