Shotover Bridge

Beautiful location with views of the Remarkables as well as Coronet Peak.Quick stop over between Frankton and Arrowtown.

We enjoyed a nice stroll over the bridge and then along the river. Not a crowded place and good for skipping rocks.

Great for bike, walk, and getting down to the river bed to enjoy the kjets zooming past every few minutes

Great view up and down the river. Easy access and now part of a very good cycle trail.

Excellent bridge as it didn't wobble or anything unlike the Auckland harbour bridge.

An easy cycle ride from Driftaway Campground in Frankton to the old bridge - now part of the cycle path from Queenstown to Arrowtown, Lake Hayes etc. Gorgeous views along the river and the planes fly overhead as the trail takes you closely behind the Queenstown Airport
