Had a great experience with Orange Homes building an investment property - Evan was fantastic in coming up with great ideas that were within budget but made the most out of our site and not just the stock standard plans. We were really happy with the progress and communication throughout the build and would definitely build with them again.

I have learned a lot about the business and their values, and if I were in a financial position to build, I would use Orange Homes.

They are always more than happy to listen to advice and ideas and they trust us to produce a superior finish for their clients. Nothing is a problem for Orange Homes and everyone from sales, office staff, construction managers to the builders and their other sub trades all combine to make an excellent team for a happy homeowner.They truly are a firm you want to deal with. New build finished in August 2021Great sales people with this company.mostly good quality building. But after the build is completed it was downhill from there, I made an honest not so positive post on Facebook and they rang me quite angry and said I was not being fair to them to fix the problems, so I gave them the time to fix the problems, however being told by them that basically I am lying that was the last straw and I had to do this review.And it is all over a really simple fix that they keep saying the electrician could not do it!Our rangehood needed 200mm ducting and we were told the 200mm ducting could not fit though to the soffit so the first 6 metres would be 200mm then reduced to 150mm at the sofit however in the real world the first 3 metres was a rigid 200mm ducting that I supplied and the remaining 6 metres was 150mm flexible ducting!So I went up and somehow managed to fit the 200mm ducting myself, then they said it could not be fitted as it was rigid ducting, but hang on a minute only the first 3 metres was rigid the rest of the 6 metres was flexible.Then the electrician said he would not connect back to the rangehood as when I was trying to pull the ducting though it popped off the rangehood and now he is refusing to reattach that and believe me it came off very easily!Second problem the bathrooms would steam up, we were told we had to use the bathroom heaters, sorry but nope that is not the reason for the bathroom steaming up, it was down to them using the absolute cheapest fans that although they pass the building code they were still not up to the job, so at my own expense I changed all 3 fans from the 36watt fans to quality 60watt fans and you guessed it no more steam problem and no use of the bathroom heaters!Be aware of this company we will never deal with them again! Never had problems like this with any other builder we have used!
