Best pies in New Zealand! I had the chicken and mushroom one and my partner had the peppered steak. So tasty with light pastry and a great size.

Great family run pie shop. While I'm not a kiwi I've had a fair share of pies. Great handmade pies. Love how they label each pie with dough so they can't be mixed up! Good steak and variety. Usually $5 a pie.

Not many people there when we stopped for lunch and I have to say if the sour looking, rude and grumpy woman serving is the normal standard I can understand why. If you want to stay in business employ staff who a) want to be there, b) know how to smile and c) can communicate in a clear and cheerful manner. We will never be back, and nor will anyone we talk to.
