A nice Indian restaurant serving contemporary Indian cuisine.We went here for dinner and enjoyed the meals while having a good time.The ambience is nice and welcoming.The food is well prepared, high quality and tasty.The location is easily accessible though parking can be a bit difficult to find on a busy day.The staff are nice and helpful.There are lunch specials available too.Well recommended overall.

A beautiful, authentic Indian restaurant where everything is cooked from fresh and tastes divine! The service was excellent; staff were attentive and friendly.The decor is based on traditional Indian kitchens, copper vessels hung from the ceiling for a relaxing eating environment and good digestion.

Clean venue with fresh tasty food. We were pleasantly surprised at the food quality.The service was a bit slow but staff were friendly.Make sure you aren't starving when you go as meals take time to prepare, however, this results in some pretty fresh meals!

Excellent dining experience at BIG TIKKA. I went out to supper with some pals to sample some real Indian food. We were astounded by the NAAN's softness and texture, and by how flavorful the CURRY was.The hospitality is to be commended, and I will recommend to all of my friends. Will visit again!!!!

Went here for lunch, good menu, and the food was nice, full of flavour. Good staff and service. They could handle vegan and halal restrictions which is great.Going to be coming back here with others to try dinner experience.

Booked a table here for our anniversary dinner. The host was kind to give us a table in a quiet corner. At the dinner we got great table service which was friendly and professional. The goat curry was such a mouthwatering dish!Thank you guys!

Made a big mistake thinking we shall get the excellent “previous” dining experience as always before - not sure what happened - food was just very below average, chicken was not fresh and curries felt like straight from heat and eat packs you get from the Indian stores - also really bad hygiene standards now - filthy toilets and had to change the plate as it had old rice grain in it.Was the last visit and sorry to see the state of this iconic place.

Highly recommend Big Tikka!Service was super excellent.The food is super tasty, full of flavour, spices well balanced and best of all not the standard ‘kiwi’ style Indian which is full of cream and dairy. More traditional southern style just oozing with flavour.The naan bread is out of this world! So fluffy and lite super delicious. Must try’s are the cheese chilli garlic naan and Mumbai Kohliwada (prawn starter)A must try experience.Loved it so much we forgot to take photos!Thank you!
