Lovely staff, very friendly, the perfect place to meet new people and be creative. Approachable tutors who are always smiling and very helpful.

You have been very nice pleasure to give us company to do art and have some kaivulution for us too keep us feed it’s the most nicest place for us to do art of our own

A fantastic space in Hamilton Central where you can come along to create art and meet new friends. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly and so handy to the bus depot too! I totally recommend this great little community service.

Arts for Health are providing important space and creativity activity as a pathway to wellness. We know the value and impact of accessible creativity and the positive attributes it contributes to individuals and their community, so it is great to see the mahi of Arts for Health continuing to make a strong contribution to all those who are part of their kaupapa.

I took a group of young people to Arts for Health to help them process their emotions by leaning into being creative. They all absolutely loved this experience and I recommend the incredible tutors massively.

I love my placement as an emerging Creative Arts Therapist at Arts for Health. It is such a warm and generous learning environment. Management are deeply committed to supporting developing practitioners. During my placement period I also worked alongside counseling and OT students as well as the art tutors, creative arts therapists, volunteers and management team.The Arts for Heath artist community is such a wonderfully diverse and talented group. I have learned so much from them and am endlessly delighted by their commitment to their arts practice, their gorgeous creations and deep friendships.Through Arts for Health I have had the opportunity to work with children and adults, in schools, the community and at the studios themselves. I always feel welcomed, cared for and empowered. A truly special place that understands the vital importance of the arts to unite, express, celebrate and heal.
