Time to put an up to date review on. Excellent service. Thanks to the RBI plus gis.net : Cheaper, faster speed than satellite. Cheaper, more reliable than Chorus for phone. Prompt, helpful, friendly service, ask a dumb questions (re the service/techy bits) and get a useful reply.

It not bad but its not great either..patchy internet..sometimes fast and other times slower than dial up.. Technology has come along way but not in Waihau Bay

I live in Hicks Bay and the service is too slow for downloading videos or MP3 drops to 32kbps and video stops downloading. When weather is rough with wind intermittent connection and slow and sites drop out if more than 5 open. Wi-Fi could be better speed, limiting at best.

Following my previous review I have to give credit when its due. Hats off to GissyNet during Cyclone Hale data service was avaiable throughout for those using dish set up. Nice one.

Only one connection issue in two years. The team found the cause within half an hour of my initial contact and got things up and running ASAP. Then they called been a few days later to check that no further issues had come up. Excellent service from a quality team.

It's like living in 2002 again, adsl1 speeds...Can gladly say I've moved to Mobile broadband. OVER 50% faster downloads, and 3 times the upload speeds. 15.8mbit vs 26.2 down and 1.87mbit vs 7.16 upload. Ping in game has gone from 200ms+ down to a little over 100ms...
