Pools By Design

Pools by Design were great to deal with from start to finish on our project. Toby and the team produced a great result, very happy with our new pool. He has been very responsive and agile through the COVID disruptions. Their knowledge of pool design and their construction is excellent and they have worked in closely with the other contractors and our engineer. Thanks Pools by Design for our new pool!

We built a pool in 2018 with Toby. The result is fantastic, and the team pushed hard to ensure delivery for Christmas which was much appreciated as we have had the use of the pool for the whole summer. The project had a few difficulties, as projects of this size do, but we always felt supported by the team and they always had our best interests at heart and worked hard with the Auckland Council and contractors to deliver a fantastic pool. Would recommend Toby, Richard and the team if your about to venture on a project of this nature.

Toby and his team did a great job on our concrete pool and spa. The pool build was quite technical due to being on a small site with a recently renovated house and retaining walls on two sides of the pool. Toby always kept us up to date on each part of the process and presented realistic solutions to some of our unrealistic expectations.The final tick of approval has been given by our two kids who spend hours on end jumping between the pool and the spa!

Toby and team have just finished our new concrete pool, they worked in-conjunction with our builder so the delivery of this pool was seamless and of no stress to us.They made suggestions on coping for the pool, tile grouting and delivered samples to look at. All aspects of the build was of high quality. Pools By Design made our outdoor area perfect. would recommend 100%.

I am just finalising a 12 month project to drain, build and complete a large 11m x 4.8m (75,000 litres) concrete in ground pool at my home. Toby and his team managed the pool delivery from bare concrete construction, including plastering, tiling, equipment fit out, etc.My specification called for top quality delivery in every respect, including uv and magnesium ion sanitation, both gas heating and solar heating to extend the swimming season, high quality stone finish, PebbleTech plaster render, and a fully integrated iPad control system to manage and integrate all aspects of the pool.Toby recommended and delivered high quality and cost effective sub-contractors in each specialist area, provided outstanding advice on all aspects of the pool fit-out and has maintained excellent work relationships with everyone involved throughout these very difficult times. Nothing has been too much trouble, and my interests have clearly been paramount at all times.I can thoroughly recommend Toby and his team at Pools by Design for anyone considering a pool project of this scale.
