I feel that this store is quite sterile. I understand that this is one of the flagship stores for Macpac but this isn't the best way to show your gear off. Stores such as Tower Junction feel much more welcoming and inviting where this is just an extension of all the other stores in the mall. Staff not knowledgeable. My partner was looking for a specific pair of tights in a specific size which were not able to be found. We were told they weren't available anywhere else in the south island but a quick drive down the street on the same day showed that the other store had two pairs of that specific pair of tights in the right size.

I was in the line to pay, but I was completely ignored by a woman named Sam. Someone who wasn't in the line jumped ahead of me when it was my turn, and Sam didn't seem to care. She served that person before me. Furthermore, there were other people behind me who were being served by a different lady, while I continued to wait in front of Sam. Eventually, the other lady came to my assistance. Great service. Never coming back to this store again.

Exceptional customer service from Rhonda at Riccarton Macpac on my recent visits. I’m a first time Grandma and was struggling with sizes. She was very helpful, offering to get products in from another branch for me. When they arrived she made sure it was what I expected and also made sure I got all my benefits. It was a pleasure shopping there. I would definitely recommend this branch.
