Food was lovely, tucked away quietly on the side of SH1 had to drive a few kilometers after the sign for restaurant, but the detour is minimal and worth it.

A lovely cafe to visit in hikurangi along with a few other shops. Coffee was great and a lovely Carmel slice. Plenty of choices and the cabinets have a great variety

I think a change of owners has resulted in very ordinary food. Mussel fritters thin and unappetising, spinach quiche less than average. Not sure how long the food sits on the shelf. Service not welcoming - concerned with ensuring we knew they would close in half an hour. Definitely not recommended.

Nice cafe to stop off at when travelling. Good selection of hot and cold cabinet food and a thorough menu. Tasty iced coffee.

Lovely quiet little cafe, just off the main road. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good selection of food and very well priced, coffee was hot.(Nice little second hand shop just along the road with heaps of bargains too)
