Great selection of gear for scuba and free diving, Very knowledgeable staff that know there products. There dive club is a great place for new divers to find interesting place to go diving in Wellington.

A large Petone dive shop with a wide selection of scuba, snorkel and free open dive advice. Helpful and knowledgable staff and reasonable prices compared to other Wellington shops. They also sell second hand dive items from there internal dive school which is a great option.

My wife and I rented equipment and went on a guided dive through Dive HQ Wellington. Claire and Paddy provided excellent customer service and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. If we find ourselves back in Wellington we will be sure to stop by!

Really good crowd to deal with (awesome as Claire would have it). Plenty of activities. Diving pretty much every weekend. Both training and fun dives. HQ is a PADI five star training centre.

If you are in Wellington and are keen on going for a dive this shop is the place to go! Having recently moved from another country and still working my way around Wellington I was lucky enough to find Dive HQ. Popped into Dive HQ to get some gear for recreational snorkelling. They have an impressive range and provided great advice about fitting as well as usage tips. If you're newbies like us certainly start here when you're looking rather than settling for the limited options that the big box places may have. As we left my wife and I commented to each other about their thoughtful friendly service.
