Had a great experience here. Giselle was great and helped me pick out two great pair of glasses. Super friendly and also helped me by figuring out the cost with all the discounts to help me make my decision.

Randomly bought a new sunglasses when I passed their shop at Auckland CBD as I saw they have a great discount on some of their items. Good customer service with the lady staff that day who assisted me in my selection. This is my 2nd purchase with this shop and will come back again if I need to. The shop though just small is easily visible when you walk along downtown along Queen St.

The customer service in this store was relatively good compared to my experiences at four other branches ( worst ever being the Manukau City Kiosk) in Auckland. My quest to resolve the issues I encountered with Sunglass Hut had sadly brought me to 5 different outlets in Auckland. The manager, Giovanna, of this Queen Street store was very friendly, attentive, helpful, and thoughtful when I approached her for the refund of the pair of sunglasses I ordered online - refund has been slow and yet been credited into my account by Sunglass Hut even though it has now been 6 days.I am writing to review not in particular about this store but also to feedback on my entire daunting online and physical shopping experience with Sunglass Hut as a whole - which I would not hesitate to give a MINUS 5 stars if I could.Recently, I sent Sunglass Hut customer support an email, dated 10th of Feb 2022, to provide feedback on the daunting and exasperating shopping experiences (in so many aspects as with how bad the customer service/support, online shopping, staffs' attitude were) I have had with Sunglass Hut. Nonetheless, 8 days down the road (with 3 more emails sent), I have received NOT A SINGLE RESPOND from Sunglass Hut (ABSOLUTELY NOTHING at all to address my concern) - so far everything seemed to indicate and boil down to the poor management of Sunglass Hut that makes the reputation of the brand name and its goodwill towards customer's care real questionable.(1) I have tried contacting the Queen Street store to query on updates of emails sent but the phone line remained unanswered for days.(2) The problematic website & countless attempts to place a simple order made shopping online unbelievably awful. Sunglass Hut website was unthinkably laggy and glitchy all the time. Problems included: (a) Poor website that constantly flipped from one page to another - back to page 1 from page 10 making the site navigation a pure pain. (b) The cart items that were added disappeared for no reason AND (c) Constant repetitions - having to enter search keywords all over again time to time and (d) The website was at one stage malfunctioned and literally down for more than two weeks when I was attempting to order another pair of sunglasses in exchange of the pair to be refunded.(3) Shopping experience at other branches was obnoxiously frustrating over a period of time Nov 2021 till date; I was flabbergasted by the staff’s lack of professionalism (ironically a prominent feature of the four different stores that I have encountered) and sluggish work ethic was disreputable appalling and deplorable; no visible whatsoever presence customer service standard - left me feeling utterly baffled, unworthy, and appalled with the substandard customer service treatment.(4) Untrained staffs (Manukau City Kiosk, Sylvia Park, Botany and Onehunga ) were negligent and disrespectful in the sense. blunders were made with staffs who do not recognize the basic courtesy and job moral to acknowledge their mistakes nor improvise their communication with customers – succinctly tarnishing the reputable name & image of the company they are to represent, rendering customer goodwill nonexistent and seemingly as a joke.(5) Disdainful discourse in which staffs ( Manukau City Kiosk particularly, Sylvia Park and Botany) have shown no penitent resulting inderiding the interest and needs of quality customers - distress, waste of time and energy that was inflicted upon customers.(6) I've been in an extreme state of indignation; let down, misled and galled by preposterous customer support, the lack of ethnical professionalism, pretentious support and the many bogus advices involved - NO proper customer care whatsoever rendered. My whole experience with Sunglass Hut has been extremely unpleasant, draining and distressing - it's implausible how a simple customer query could have been so badly ignored. Communications with Sunglass Hut, likened to the Hide and Seek game, has been painfully time consuming and exasperating more like chasing Ron Swanson’s swivel chair.

My partner and I had a lovely experience shopping with Sunglass Hut on Queen st when in the City on Saturday. We were served by a gentleman named Kyle whom was very helpful with his advice in styles of sunglasses to suit our face shapes, mine especially as I am very particular. Customer service skills were standout. Very friendly welcoming environment.

Arrived at 5pm as their hours on Google (apparently updated one week ago) and the BVLGARI website state they are open until 6pm. Doors were already locked and staff said they were closed :(

I thought sunglass hut was a store selling branded sunglasses but their products are just garbage. I bough my sunglasses in feb 2020 for $230. As I usually wear my eyesight glasses. I only used my rayban twice in couple of months and I found that the screw from one of the glass is loose. I went to the store and asked for fixing it or replacing it as it wasn't supposed to get loose by wearing it twice. To me it was a faulty product. The staff in the store asked me to buy a new sunglass for half the price as it is still under warranty or go to a eyewear store in Mt roskill and pay to get it repaired. I would suggest everyone to directly buy from the brand store as these people don't know even 'C' from customer service. If I bought an ice cream from a street store I wont be complaining but these are some expensive glasses.

Went in there on the 17th Feb about my broken oayleys and the russian staff member told me she would contact the branch at which I purchased the item and get back to me. She didnt contact me at all and I have to call them yesterday and ask for her to call me back, which she also didnt do, Called again this morning and she said she would call me straight back after talking to the other store and didnt i had to call back again. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE. Very unhappy about service.
