Karin was a great host! We stayed over Easter weekend and she had a yummy slice waiting for us and easter eggs. Clean and tidy facilities and awesome historical place to stay. We really enjoyed staying here and was one of our highlights of our trip.

Karin is a very welcoming host, The Station has all amenities you need, great guest quarters with comfy beds and ensuite in each room. Only spent one night here but would highly recommend to anyone wanting accommodation in the area

Such a good place to stop to ensure you do not miss the visit to Ophir. The hosts are very welcoming and you outlook to the countryside the only noise you hear is the birds and the occasional bike going past.

If you're going to stay in Omakau, this is the place you want to stay at! The accommodation is excellently appointed and the hosts are just amazing. Can't recommend The Station highly enough. @Sarah and Paul: thank you for going out of your way to look after us!

We had an excellent stay at The Station while doing the Rail Trail. Very comfortable and everything we needed was provided. Lovely hosts who made sure we were able to charge up our bikes and keep them dry overnight. Highly recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in Omakau.
