Thank you for an awesome food date destination!!! It was my hubby’s first time and we both enjoyed every bite. The highlights were the glass noodles, spinach, lamb skewers and fried chicken! The drinks were a big hit too. Super fast turnaround from when we placed the order and such AMAZING value for money for the quality of every dish! Thanks so much again!!

Delicious and budget friendly food, came out super quickly as well. Will definitely try their bottomless brunch, as I wasn’t able to try their drinks. Decor and Ambiance is great but is definitely more suited to older kids and adults (as it is a bar) but you can still bring your kids here I guess, for the good food.

We came around 2- 3pm and it was pretty busy. We sat at the bar. Ordering food via app and pay at the counter at the end. Nice atmosphere. Food was nice, $8.88/ dish with good portion. $5/ drink. We ordered total 5 dishes with 2 drinks for 2 people. Around $28/ person. We enjoyed our time here.

This restaurant is fantastic. The dishes are all great and flavourful, the decor is an absolute vibe, and most importantly — it’s reasonably priced, which is a rare find in 2023 on Ponsonby road. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu here, however the chilli chicken and pork belly fries are two standouts for me. The manager Nathan is very accomodating, and quick to fix any issues should they arise. Be prepared for a bit of a wait for a table if going on a Friday or Saturday evening — that’s just how popular it is! I love this place and will definitely be back.

Love love love coming here. We ended up here after dinner. It was super busy but the hostess ended up seating us at the bar within a couple of minutes. They were under the pump but had smiles all around and were so helpful.We ordered through the cocktail menu and at $8.88 for cocktails they did not water them down. The Viet Dragon which is the condensed milk espresso martini was the perfect concoction and the fave for the night. Followed by the lucky rabbit.Food wise loved the pork dumplings, the prawn wrapped bacon and the teriyaki salmon. The lamb skewers took me back to being in china and visiting night markets.A fabulous night out with impeccable vibes

There was a lot of hype around this place and I've wanted to come here for a while. I like the concept that everyone is $8.88. I was a bit confused at first when I arrived as the system for getting a seat wasn't very clear and there were several lines, as well as people who just walked up and got their table. While they had a lot of staff they only had one guy seating people and processing payments and he clearly was busy. The food was good though the cost of it adds up rather quickly with the small-ish serving sizes, though it's nice to be able to try a lot of different things in one meal. Overall a good experience though.

I have been a loyal frequenter of Mr Hao so when a new variant opened up, I had to try it.The concept is great. Every thing is $8.88 including the drinks. Order through the app and 10 minutes later, you're on your way laughing with an assortment of eats. I couldn't fault a single dish. Standouts were the beef cheek, lamb ribs and cold noodles. Service was a bit hit and miss but it was peak Friday so can be excused. All in all, worth a visit.

I really liked the place, the atmosphere in particular. we went on a Friday night, and it was crowded. They accept walk-ins, but your best shot is booking in advance as it's normally fully booked.all dishes are 8.88, and you order through your phone and order come out SO fast we were impressed.if you are vegan, I recommend you check the website menu before ordering rather than relying on the phone website. this is because there are more vegan options available than the ones the filter shows you.a lot of drinks, very nicely presented and great taste. I recommend visiting this place.would be great to see a bit more vegan options or if they could be more flexible (like why edamame contain dairy?) anyway, it's worth the visit.(not recommended if you have a severe peanut allergy)

Great place for sharing. At $8.88 a dish, its a good way to get many different dishes to try. Most dishes were really good. I would avoid the skewers though. The cocktails were also the same price and definitely good value, highly recommend the coffee based one

Good vibes for groups and gathering. Food was good compared with price ($8.8 each) and they are more like side dishes/nibbles. My friend and I didn’t try the cocktails so I left it out for now. Definitely come back to try out more food and drinks next time.
