What a great genuine coast experience. Yes the place doesn't look like a 5 star hotel but the service, cleanliness and most important internet was perfect. Grant was the perfect publican.These are the type places to support in these difficult Covid times. BTW Lake Kaniere and the Wilderness Trail are amazing.

Very clean. Host hospitable and Very friendly. Locals great company and the Irish Stew for dinner was ,more of a soup, superb, so highly recommend

What a wonderful place to stay near Hokitika. We were so comfortable! Cannot recommended this place more. Family owned and run; and you could tell, everything was so clean and cared for. Immaculate bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Everything was easy! We loved the historic 120 year old building too.

We were very disappointed with the takeaway Irish hotpot we bought on saint patrick's day night. All the meat was fatty along with a slot of bones. Uncooked potatoes and over priced for the serving size. Paying $1 for the icecream container was a bit cheeky as well

Lovely affordable hotel, very accomodating and friendly owners. We arrived with bicycles and were able to store them in a shed overnight. Great fish and chips too! Would definitely recommend.
