Went to the wildlife photo exhibition, then to other free exhibitions. A lovely informative place to go and the staff were very helpful.

Really great experience visiting the renewed Exscite with my two-year-old.I love the thought that went into the installations, and the downstairs looks amazing with the upgrade. On a rainy day with kids there's just no better place to go to!

Located in Hamilton, Waikato museum exhibits includes Māori culture, social history, and science. The museum has some interesting collections and is quite informative. The museum is not very big but perhaps worth a visit if you have some extra hours to spend in Hamilton.

The Museum itself was lacking excitement for children, however we found out there was a kids area. This is $3 per adults & $6 per child UNLESS you have a community services card, in which case it's $3pp. Huge area, many many different I interactive activities with the most popular being the Mario Carts!Definitely a great school holiday, or even weekend, visit! Opens at 10am.

The excite was good, although not as many activities as I remember being there a couple of years back.Upstairs was a strange exhibit with just a few pieces of knitting that seemed like a waste of space, and a whole floor of very similar paintings by just one artist. It would be better if there was more to look at, along with variation.
