John was amazing! Fitted me in without any hassle & was very knowledgeable with what I wanted straight away. The salon had a lovely busy vibe with great atmosphere you can see there is alot of returning customers which is always a good thing. All staff were very friendly especially grace who finished off my hair after John colouring it. Would recommend here.

My first time appointment at Aboki with Lizzy was excellent. After a brief and friendly consultation, she did a great job of colouring my hair. She really listened to what I wanted and I love the outcome. I’ll definitely be returning :)

I had the absolute best experience with Ngaroma! From the start she was super lovely, listened to what I was looking for and offered advice where I needed it. She is so so skilled with balayage and colouring and I couldn't be happier with the result. Will 100% be back to see her again :)

The hairdresser was awesome and did a wonderful job, but I was _quoted $99 for roots and didn’t realise until I got home that I was charged $160. I called the salon and was informed the xtra was for a dry off , I was not informed at any stage of xtra cost, I told the lady at the counter this and she refused to refund the whole $61 and offered credit of $26 , I will not return to this salon , a quote is what you pay unless you agree for xtra services which I did not, I left with hair still wet as was in a hurry definitely no extras here

I had the best experience as a new client coming in for a cut. Damask was lovely, listened to my concerns, and she knew what she was doing! I feel like I can relax and trust her with my hair.

I come here to see Janus. He colors and cuts my hair. He makes my hair look and feel amazing. I walk out feeling like a million bucks. He's great with his consultations. Great with tips and advice. He's got a lovely nature, and a great sense of humor. I highly recommend him. You won't regret your visit with him. Everyone else in Aboki is absolutely lovely. So welcoming. They're a great team.

I was visiting Nelson and went to Aboki for my hair care and found the staff to be very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly and they gave me great hair care and styling. I went in feeling unattractive and I came out feeling like a new woman.Lily gave me a head massage that was a real treat. Thank you to all of you.
