Over the past few years I've seen alot of recommendations on fb about these guys reading one stating they call you should you need other things done on your car rather than go ahead and do it like some mechanics adding an extra cost to their already overpriced services that you didn't want to your bill. That often happens especially if your female and they think some of us don't know our stuff, so I definitely kept Briggs in mind should I need anything done.Recently I blew a hole in my radiator when I rang and explained what had happened they were professional told me what will need to be done pressure test etc how long it would take, gave me a reasonable price felt relieved, and booked me in, It was fixed alot faster than I expected, thank goodness.Meeting Brian and his team was a pleasure he was very friendly, honest and extremely professional, When someone has had 30+ years of experience you know your in the right place I most definitely recommend them highly and happy to be a new customer, why I didn't go to them in the 13yrs I've lived in the area was my loss but now my gainThank you briggs I absolutely appreciate you

Have been using Briggs for about 15 years. Best service of any place, and I feel they can be trusted. Particularly memorable was one Easter when the brakes acted up when leaving of town (smoking hot); the owner took a look and got us on our way on his day off, and our holiday was saved.

Got a WOF from here. Had to get some new tyres, so went to Tony's. Was told to come back to Briggs anytime to get the WOF approved. Came back on a Friday BEFORE closing time. Was told the computers had been turned off for the day then was rudely told we would probably get pulled over by the cops for not having a WOF. No customer care whatsoever, but hope you had a good Friday lol. Will never be back here again.

Great garage, trust worthy and get the job done

I've been using Briggs for more than 20 years. In that time they've been brilliant. I trust them completely. Went there today with my new car for what I thought were sticky brakes. Kerry ran through all the appropriate checks, then when I came back explained that my particular model of Japanese import had an unusual type of transmission which gave the same effect as a sticky brake. Despite having spent time on me that could have been used earning money with another customer Kerry refused payment.I keep very accurate petrol usage records and over the last six months I've been getting between 14 and 16 kilometres per litre. If the problem had been brakes as I thought I think that figure would have been considerably less.I repeat my first paragraph. Solid, dependable, reliable, safe and above all honest work.
