Beautiful surroundings, lovely staff and the food was nice but could you please invest in something to warm the marquee up with? We froze and it wasn't good for the oldies at the wedding we attended yesterday. Even those rugged up still felt it.

Five star experience which included an amazing menu and perfect hospitality provided by the hosts. The setting of the Lodge is also magnificent and is only a short journey from Gisborne City.

Wonderful hosts, beautiful beautiful setting. Made my brother's wedding day flawless, exceptional and an awesome experience (even through the shortlived rain). Definitely a venue that will always be remembered. Tau ke!!

One of Gisbornes hidden Gems hidden away in a secluded Eco Climate Valley that caters for Weddings & Packaged Accommodation get aways. The back drops are Stunning & Tranquil, a place you will keep coming back to for more... The Owners Kees & Kay are lovely people & will make you feel at home on your arrival. Highly Recommended.

We had our daughter's wedding at Knapdale at the end of June 2018. Kay and Kees were very easy to work with and very accommodating. The venue is stunning with a spectacular outlook and well set out with entertainment areas that flow and work really well with a lot of people. Its an easy commute from Gisborne, about 15 minutes by car. I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding.

Everything here has been exceptionally well thought through to make for a superb experience, especially for functions and large groups. The location is very beautiful, the hosts are charming and the catering is memorable.
