What a treat to relax in natural hot springs, outdoors! A couple times a day the springs are briefly closed for cleaning--that made me confident to go in the water. The temperature of each pool is measured frequently and posted by the stairs into the pool. The hottest pool open the day I was there was 42ºC and the coolest was, I think, 26º, which is very refreshing. I was so relaxed by the end. Also, this is a Māori-owned business, so a great, mutually beneficial way to support the community.

Awesome way to heal your sore muscles. Lovely clean place. You have to book online to save you disappointment when you arrive, and it's booked out. Take a robe as it gets cold walking to the changing rooms - it's a bit of a distance, especially in the wind, after getting out of a lovely hot pool.

Really enjoyed my time their with family.So many different temperature pools available. We went in the 4-6pm time slot, not packed just relaxed atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

Amazing place! So magical! Very nice hot spa pools - there are different temperatures, 36/37/39/41/45 degrees and it’s changing. Also cold pools - 17/19/29/21/25 degrees. We didn’t try those as we are fans of hot! There were people going from hot to cold and back. Everything is new and so clean and looks very welcoming. If you are not local, it’s 35$ per person, and it’s for 2 hours session, where you can use all the pools there. Thank you! It was really nice!

Way too pricey for what it is! The new reception hall & dressing rooms are nice, but each pool is tiny and mostly haven't been updated, and several of them were closed, and I hated being hassled to get out of the pool 20 minutes before the end of our session - the old friendly, humble place it used to be was way nicer.

What a wonderful place to visit, sadly we didn’t have the time to stay & test the watersStaff were so friendly helpful & informativeEven though we were not using the facilities, the staff showed us around , giving us the history of the hot springs.Even people using the springs were wonderful sharing their feelings of the springsLove to return

Great natural hot pools. Was warmly welcomed by the hosts and had a great induction. Changing rooms clean and well appointed. Variety of pools at different temperatures. Hosts were excellent explaining the history and significance of the pools. Great investment in the area and very happy to see provincial growth fund spent well in the far north.

Wonderful experience. Felt a little bit better after that 2hrs of soaking into the water. Only downside, no available towels. I had to borrow from my friends as there were no towels available. They should have at lease posted on their site as its no good for people travelling 2 hrs away.
