I ordered matcha latte no sugar twice. The first one was not sweet at all. But today’s is much sweeter than the first one and it’s completely different taste. I asked the barista she said she just used the powder didn’t put sugar. Today’s barista is different from the previous one. I’m just confused did your shop change the matcha powder? ☹️

What a gem of a place! The people are incredibly lovely, a variety of beans, so many styles of coffee offered, and they even have te reo Saturdays. Coffee was the best I’d had in a while too.

Stopped in for a coffee and some hot drinks on a recent trip to NewMarket with the family. This is a hole in the wall coffee place, but by the gear they had in there and the menu options, they know their coffee. We had some batch brew and the kids had hot chocolates. They were all excellent. Would definitely stop in again. Love finding little gems like this. Coffee is life!

It is the second shop of Dear Deer locates in Onehunga, there are variety of green coffee beens, we can order n taste the freshly patched coffees. I ordered one of their recommendation as iced coffee, it was like a brandy cuz of the rich aroma.

For a quick fantastic espresso hit, I stopped in at Dear Deer Coffee Roasting Bar Newmarket for a large soy latte. This is the first time I’ve noticed this spot, service was super friendly and quick. Highly recommended!

Excellent decaf coffee, one of the best I've ever tasted. They let us choose our own brewing types, hand drip or espresso. Huge selection of beans and some brewing tools also available.Its a bit hidden underneath the multi story car park, but its kinda in front for Archie's Italian to give you an idea. Definitely worth the finding though.

Really unique experience. You choose your own green coffee, tell them your preferred roast level and sit to enjoy a fairly priced filter coffee while you wait for your beans. Excellent customer service too. They roasted my beans dark by mistake when i wanted light roast. Gave me replacement bag with double the beans immediately no questions asked.

The guy that does coffee is perfectionist. I never seen such attention to details before. Highly recommended" This is my first review. and I put 5 start. The roasted coffee was amazing that time.I went there a second time to buy a fresh coffee beans. The second time the coffee beans were disgusting. Impossible to brew a proper espresso. Therefore I put one star"
