The manager or supervisor here whoever she is, is EXTREMELY RUDE, and unprofessional she was wearing some random Disney shirt I didn’t even know she was a manager, me and two friends were chased out of the store, after we were just looking at some soft toys, such a terrible experience and random boxes all over floor so poorly kept, was planing on buying some new Lego sets but will be taking my business somewhere else as I couldn’t even get to the legos before I was chased out, first time here and definitely last time as well

Awesome experience at Toy World Ballance Street in Wellington today, I don't normally shop there for toys, however this time I really didn't fancy driving too far to the other stores I normally go to for toys, so am absolutely pleased I decided to go here, firstly their customer service is outstanding, such genuinely friendly and helpful staff, I mean all of them, such a great buzzy energy, had such a crack-up with the young lady that was helping me choose toys, she was such the best, made it so easy for me to choose, such a great selection and great discounts, love the layout of this store, thank you team for such the best experience, will see you again most definitely, birthdays coming up soon for all the moko's, so will see you then! Meri Kirihimete !

much more expensive than whitcoulls and moorewilsons... also saw who i assume was manager and an older woman arguing. not a good look... especially when children could be around

As others have experienced, manger is very rude. As she yelled at her employee in the middle of the store she then proceeded to walk over a shuffle through my bag accusing me of stealing. Very off putting experience

Last week, my friend and I bought $200 lego. When we wanted to leave the store, a lady who looked like a manager or supervisor blocked our way. She asked to check our bags. Just because we paid and looked at the other toys. We gave her the receipt. She examined it carefully for about five minutes. I think this behavior is very impolite and discriminatory. I wear $1,000 shoes to steal $6 toys? Hopefully this lady will find the real thief one day.

I have never ever had a good experience at any toy world, but this location was absolutely dreadful. I don't often leave bad reviews unless I have an awful time, but the service form the employees was atrocious. Was shopping with a friend and accidently dropped a small toy and went to pick it back up when an older employee approached and said in the most condescending voice, You should probably pick that up and put it back." No offer to help us find anything

Great store great selection of Lego finally found tie bomber on sale this long weekend 10% off great service and location close to the ferry terminal
