Dan at Bravado is amazing. I always leave happy after an appointment with him. He is full of knowledge with all things hair and he listens to what you are after or want to achieve with your hair. Recommend!

Haven't been to a hairdresser in God knows how long ( having curly hair has always made me stressed going to the hairdresser as I don't wanna look like a lame poodle, which is what normally happens) and am back living in Whangārei so went looking for somewhere to cut my hair and picked Bravado cos it looked and smelled good. And I was right amazing. Hair amazing Soo many curls all looking lush after my haircut. The nicest people work here. And the products they smell so good. Thanks team.

Alex is a great hairdresser, very understanding of my insane sea damaged hair and even went above and beyond to advise on good places to park!! I love their compassionate outlook and plastic free policies too. And great smelling products of course :)

I could not be more impressed with my time at Bravado Hair Salon. Such a great atmosphere of learning and helping to experience. I put myself forward to be a hair model for a Trainee Cut. Had my hair coloured and cut by Kaya and absolutely loved the result. All the staff are so friendly and love that the salon is environmentally friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Loved my experience at Bravado, I have thick, long, blond hair and Alisa did a fab job of a highlight, tone and cut. Best look i have had in years. Also the shop has such a warm and friendly vibe, the owner exudes positivity, such a nice environment for pampering. 10/10 can't wait to return. Thank you!

Don’t normally do reviews but I have too, I’m a bit weary when it comes to getting my hair done by places I’ve never been but I’m glad I took the risk because they delivered. Alex who cut my hair is an absolute gem. She gave my messy head of hair a luxurious fix as I gave into the lockdown crave of cutting your own hair, overall the staff are lovely, salon pretty, music a vibe and my hair is feeling super healthy. Dan took up the challenging job to transform my hair from pitch black to dark blonde. Thehair color transformation was a luxurious experience for me. I'm so excited to have finally reached my hair goals. It wouldn't have happened without Dan's expertise and encouragement. I really felt I could trust Dan's guidance through the tough weeks of fading warm hair until I got to my natural ashy tone. It was nerve wracking to see my hair bleached and processed, and its definitely a case where one has to 100% trust their stylist. I felt very reassured by Dan's honest and professional approach, explaining to me the stages the hair will go, realistic expectations, and how to keep my focus on the result. It's been awesome! Definitely not for the faint hearted, so don't do what I didn't and don't color your own hair at home.
